E4ME Q jet

Looking at RockAuto for a rebuilt Qjet or sending it out for a rebuild by Sean Murphy, both about the same price, RockAuto can send in a couple of days, Sean 2/3 week turnaround, decisions, decisions, open for other suggestions.

Not sure what your schedule is but I highly recommend Quadrajet Power- they may have one ready to go on the shelf or be able to build you one to suit your needs.

They rebuilt mine and its been great right out of the box with minimal adjustments needed.

Re: E4ME Q jet

I bought a qjet carb from Rockauto and sent it back. It was not that it was bad carb but it was just more of a universal qjet even though they asked for qjet number. I put on truck and did not run any better then my old one, so I sent back and it failed emissions. It was nice and shiny though not cadmium but polished metal.

Re: E4ME Q jet

I second Quadrajet power. they can either rebuild yours or set you up with what you need. I bought a nice kit from them. I would keep your carb. big box reman units tend to be generic and may not be calibrated correctly. theyre pretty easy to rebuild.
