Porterbuilt/headers
Been looking around for the last couple day with no real definitive answer. I'm running a version 5 Porterbuilt extreme up front with an LS1. Outside of using the Holley manifolds what actual headers will work?

Only one response so assuming you will be real low, long tube headers wouldn't work. About 5 years ago my ls swap ended up with sanderson shorty headers. There wasn't a lot to choose from back then. I used the stock 2001 5.3 engine mounts and removed my frame brackets so nothing was in the way. I couldn't guarantee they would clear if the frame brackets were there. My headers point back and down at about 45 degrees and end at about the back of the engine. Sanderson didn't have a truck application at the time so I opted fro 68 and newer nova with a ls.
