Yes, they are! Great catch. The used the 'inner tail lights', they are a little more uniformly shaped than the outer ones.

HOWEVER, I am probably going to change them. I like my original idea for lights better and am going back to that.

Re: 52 GMC Envoy Burb meld/build

I'm baa-aack! Been busy with work and I put this build on hold to work on my 52 Bus.
I also just flew to North Carolina where I bought a 61 Parkwood and drove it home!

Just installed springs, struts, control arms, shocks, and adjustable panhard bar to drop the truck 2 and 3 inches. It is nice to be able to buy parts off the shelf for the Envoy . . .

"Remodeling" the fender openings. We all know that the back fender never is quite lined up correctly with the wheel. I want these to be. Of course, have to match the front as well . . .

Re: 52 GMC Envoy Burb meld/build

BBEEP... The build is VERY IMPRESSIVE! Just to give you a heads up, most of the forum members @Trailvoy.com left and started GMTnation.com You should def stop by and re-introduce yourself, we all loved your build. Again, good job and good luck on the rest of it.

Re: 52 GMC Envoy Burb meld/build

Thanks! Just added a 1950 passenger car front license surround to the rear 'shortened' bumper.
Also changed my mind on the tail lights. No 2012 Camaro, now HHR.

I like the look of the new bumper. Also nice choice on the tail lights, they are more suited for the burb.

Re: 52 GMC Envoy Burb meld/build

Thanks guys, I think I cut at least 12 inches out of the middle of the bumper. Once I get the front one squared away, off to the chrome shop! (So far, about 5 inches off each side) Of course tucked within a quarter inch . .

BBEEP, looks great. The tail lights looks like they meant to be there. Going to be a ride.

Hey John, its coming together very nicely. Good choice on the tail lamps. Give me a call about the wiring for them. Thanks, Tom
