Very nice mod on the rear. Similar to the NoLimit setup that they sell. I bet it makes a huge difference (I have NoLimit on my ‘67).

I want to try something similar on my Squarebody (leaf spring) build coming up.

Re: Freshly Lowered Questions.....

I used Frizzle Fry's rear shock relocation method on my '66 along with an 80's F150/Bronco rear sway bar and it made a huge difference compared to stock. I've been recommending this setup anytime I see relocated shocks mentioned. I'm in the middle of doing the same thing on my new '66.

Using the hardware that came with drop blocks I had to slightly clearance the washer for the relocated hole since the new hole is closer to the folded edge.

For the front I bought Currie shock mounts intended for axle tubes and drilled holes to mount them to the frame rails.

With the relocated shocks, bump stop brackets completely removed, and front/rear sway bars the truck rode better than my dad's completely stock '66 and had less body roll than my autocross car. It was super stable on the interstate even at 90+ mph.

Re: Freshly Lowered Questions.....

I have also used frizzle's rear shock setup. It works great. I would also recommend it.
