bogging out

hey, for some reason every time i floor it, it just bogs out for a sec and then starts to go and im just wondering what it could be.

My old engine used to do that, it would check timing and of course it would be off one way or the other and then just double check settings on the carb. That would clear it up for a few thousand miles

mine did that before i rebuilt the carb, could also be the timing, mine is set at 8*before
