Hyd. Clutch with nv4500 Question

I'm installing a 1998 NV4500 with bell housing, on a 1975 350. Using the 98, clutch and pressure plate and hyd. internal throw out bearing. The TOB is spring loaded.
My question is when I bolt it together am I compressing the TOB spring competely. It seems like that will happen from me measuring it.
I know the TOB is in constant contact.

Thanks for any help
