1. deleting threads is a subscription benefit.
2. if you dislike a post or have an issue with it report it using the report a post link

3. anything referring to your truck has been deleted and the discussion is about scamming, which could help someone from getting screwed.
4. in the future if you want to get a mods attention, PM one of them or use the contact us link at the bottom of the page. You will get much faster results that way

I really do not see any reason to lock this thread. if yall have a specific reason let me know

FROM WHAT I GATHER,SOMEONE POSTED PRIMERED JUNK`S TRUCK ON CRAIGLIST AND MADE A BOGUS "COPO" CLAIM.IT WAS NOT HIS AD.
Primered Junk has another thread asking about his SPID which has "Special Order" on it which is seldom seen,even on special ordered trucks.I may have it wrong,too.But at least I`m on the same planet...I hope?

Specialk you are correct, my snl posted my truck on the CL, with a COPO claim, one of old iron's friends was interested in the SPID, I saw the post and freaked out on him. She used and old business E-mail of mine, and my wifes cell phone number. I am very greatful that oldiron69 is an honest man, he helped me bust them.
oldiron69, she has not come home yet, she will be getting an evict out of it at the very least.

geeze this got weird fast. I am so glad it worked out for you. same but different .. a friend of ours was renting a home to his bro n sis in law. sis in law decided to sell our friends box truck off his property (the rental) with no title etc and pocketed the money. when they tried to take out charges on her, nothing could be done because it was sold off the property she was living in.. even though she did not own it nor had permission to sell it. they tried the magistrate, a few different officers and consulted a lawyer. in the end they got nothing and the truck was gone.

similar to what you dealt with.. and i am so glad it worked out for you

So glad they didn't get to sell your truck. Reminds me of a time when I was making payments to a relative for an S10. I was almost done paying for it when it came up missing. Turns out he thought he could sell it. He was wrong and was dealt with in a not so professional way on my part. If you get through this without giving them a permanent limp, my hat's off to you.

Makes me wonder how the heck they keep auto theft down in states like Ga where you don't need a title for old stuff. just seems wrong.

We are looking for a man probaly in a vintage Chevy, Charged with two counts of vehicular homicide , he stumbled across the victims as they tried tried to sell his pride and joy while he was at the Waffle House Having breakfast....Family are the ones you gotta keep an eye on sometimes, I love my mom but I came home one time when I was 17 , two guys were in my back yard looking at my 69 Camaro convertible, told me my mom wanted it out of the yard and would take 1500.00 for it!!
