VetteVet update

I PM Vet the other night on a electrical question I had and he responded. I hadn't seen him on here for awhile. I know he is one of our main go to guy's on electrical items so I feel as though I should inform every one of his current situation.

This was his reply:
Quote:
I know Andy, I have been very busy caring for my wife. She has been suffering from diabetes and kidney disease and the last three months have been bad. She was getting weaker and weaker in the last four months and she fell and hurt herself four times. Her blood pressure dropped and I took her to the hospital and the next morning she had a heart attack. Three days later she passed away on September 22.

I haven't cared about much of anything the last few days but I'm gradually getting over it. I have all the time in the world now and I'm starting to get back to the things I like to do. Like the forum. There are a few guys on here, including yourself who have been filling in for me so I haven't needed to post.
Don't worry about me, I'll be alright.
VetteVet
He has helped me with all my questions about electrical whenever I need it.
Just thought you all would like to know.

God Bless Vet

I noticed he hadn't been posting. You never know why.

I know you are a good guy who enjoys helping people. I'm sure you were all the help your wife could want in her time of need. May she rest in peace and may you live on for the both of you.

The details and personal stuff, yes. But friends tell friends once they know the bad news of another friend.

If he hadn't of told me I wouldn't have posted it. I wouldn't have know. I figured if he told me he was OK with me posting it. He didn't say not to. I did it totally out of respect for him and his wife who I meet several years ago, I invited him to eat lunch with our local truck club at our monthly meeting that day since they where in the area.
I felt like it was the right thing to do so other's could pay their respects to him.

Re: VetteVet update

Thanks for the update Andy. I was wondering last week why we hadn't heard anything from him lately. I always learn a lot from his posts.

And to VetteVet, if he's "listening", I'm very sorry to hear about your wife.

Hurry back. We miss you.
