69-70 Blazer sport buckets

Picked up these black 69-70 seats today and wondering what they are worth? One seat tilts forward and the other has normal tracks. No rust and the foam is in pretty good shape. What are they worth?

Re: 69-70 Blazer sport buckets

Local set to me has been for sale for $250 for a long time now & no bites lol Guessing $1-200 to the right buyer might sell them though. Same condition as well.

Re: 69-70 Blazer sport buckets

I just sold my last set for $250 with no brackets, no covers, and worse foam so I would imagine they would be worth more than that?

Aren't those 71-72 buckets?
The 69-70 seats had a different style upholstery,...

Re: 69-70 Blazer sport buckets

Do you guys think it would be worth it to recover these and then try to sell or sell as is? The foam is really nice and with a set of covers they would look really good I just don't know not it is worth spending the extra cash on covers or not. I've seen sets go up to $1200 to $900 with orignal foam and new covers along with resisted brackets, is that pretty accurate if I was to do so?

Re: 69-70 Blazer sport buckets

If you're getting $250+ in that condition then you're doing good compared to my market lol I've never seen the buckets sell $9-1200 even recovered but it's all about how much time & money you want to put into them to make a little extra more. If you can cash out sooner then may as well.

Re: 69-70 Blazer sport buckets

The last meet I went to there was a individual selling a set very similar to yours, also out of a blazer. He had 400.00 for the set, no console, ended selling them for 350.00.
I've also seen 71-72 style sell for more than 400.00 but the brkts and seats were in great shape. So a lot depends on condition and who's looking for a set.

Re: 69-70 Blazer sport buckets

Don't recover them, you limit your market. What if someone wants green? Houndstooth? Blue? Etc.
