Re: 4.3w performance

i have a 92 S10 Blazer with the Vortec 4.3L i have another engine im going to put in it that will be rebiult (mine has 230K on it, and uses oil)

im going to use flattop pistons, and clean the ports up on the heads. the engine thats in there runs great just smokes and is a bit tired im sure, but ive never needed more power ect. i know they make headers for these Blazers, but never looked into anything else.

Re: 4.3w performance

the top end from a Syclone/Typhoon would really wake it up.

Re: 4.3w performance

Headers, upgrade the cat & exhaust, K&N, 180 t-stat, convert to electric fan, chip, grind away the protruding airfoil on the throttle butterfly (if that model has one), and performance ignition.
