72 k30 4 sale lower price!

My 72 k30 is for sale. The engine and drive train are from a 81 k30. 454, hydroboost,d60, th400, np205, 14bolt. It has new exhaust from headers to tips. 4 New 4" springs and rs9000s. Runs and drives excellent. Needs paint and tires to be complete.
It can be seen at http://community.webshots.com/album/82836031LibtFs

Price= $9,800 obo

The truck is in central California. If you have questions or want to talk about it , call jeff at 209-586-2655

This is a great truck with lots of new and custom parts. It has F-250 shock mounts in the front to allow longer Rancho 9000 shocks. Both drive shafts were rebuilt. Class 3 hitch from an 85 suburban.
The 454 has about 10k on it. It runs great and has tons of torque! The 14 bolt should have a traction device to keep the right tire from going up in smoke, 1st and 2nd gear!
The brakes and steering are Hydroboost which gives it a tight new truck feel. I installed the k30's front sway bar with new bushings, and a Rancho stabilizer.

Nice looking truck. Were the power steering ends metric for the 1981 power steering. If so, did you use adapters to connect to the power steering gear box or use custom hoses with the correct ends?

power steering

I think you asked that question when I was trying to get a price for this truck. The pump, hoses and box came from the donor truck. The whole set up went into the 72. As someone else mentioned I did trim the fender well.

If I give you 11,000 will you straighten the bedsides, fix the rockers. and throw in a rear bumper and a decent set of tires?

an offer?

I have a chrome rear bumper that needs to be installed. It's from a 90 chev and it was on the truck when I bought it. I'm not willing to add any value to the truck, such as body work or tires. Tires are a personal choice anyways, I was planning on replacing the at's with more of the same but the new owner may want something more aggresive. The price is obo, If you are interested give me a call.

Ebay K20 not mine

Anybody seen this ad on Ebay? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=39410

Starting price $16k, with a higher reserve. I guess I should put my truck on Ebay!

That truck will probably not sell seeing the way the market is right now.
