New Process Transfer Case booklet
Picked this up the other day- appears to have very very little use if any. Outlines rebuilding the NP205 when they were first introduced. Basically a printed version of the training film dealers were presented, 17 pages long.

Re: New Process Transfer Case booklet
That’s a great find! I bet it looks brand new because even after 50 years they don’t need much to keep them running! It’s got to be the toughest damn transfer case ever made.

Re: New Process Transfer Case booklet
Cool. That's a great piece of GM lit. I have some of that drivetrain type stuff but not that.

Re: New Process Transfer Case booklet
Kinda sad to see such an iconic piece of machinery lost to corporate buyouts and exchanges.
What I am glad to see is there is such a huge following of these they even put them into 1000 ft lb torque 4wd diesel applications. Nice find, maybe replicated it and sell them. I am sure they would sell. |

Re: New Process Transfer Case booklet
Very cool. 3 pcs makes it a collection you know. I just moved my transfer case and transmission collection from one building to another yesterday. They are much heavier than those booklets . I had no respect for the only Dana20 transfer case I ever had back when I pulled it from a 3spd Blazer. No respect for the 3spd either. I wanted it out, bought a parts Blazer for the TH350/NP205, and before I got to the swap (matter of weeks) I was dead on the road with a broken mainshaft in the 3spd. Now I wish I had held onto that Dana20 for restoration purposes.
