Goodmark Rechromed Rear Bumper

Anyone out there have experience with the Goodmark rechromed bumper? Is it an OEM bumper? How is the chrome?

I finally got rid of the ugly step bumper on my Blazer and now I'd like a nice rear bumper.

Thanks.

If you see a excellent gmc front bumper in Tennessee grab it for me that is if it’s a good deal.

Re: Goodmark Rechromed Rear Bumper

Top quality in my opinion. The one I have is a Goodmark re-chromed original I got about 2 years ago, you can see on the back side some prior pitting from its previous life and some of the work done to get it straight, the show side is flawless. Ive got a front one too and it is of the same quality, they are the nicest chrome pieces on my truck by a long ways.

I have heard good remarks regarding the Goodmark re-chromes from Rock auto.

I have them front and rear on my chevelle. I believe these are old cores rechromed as I dont think repos can b rechromed as they are to thin . The fit and finish are very good and the bumper is as thick as the my OEM takeoffs. Was going to get them rechromed but the prices I got put that out of reach. So the originals are on a shelf in the garage.

I looked on Rock Auto - I have a discount code right now, because I've bought a lot of parts from them. The bumper is $199, but the most economical shipping is $164. That's kind of crazy, in my opinion.

Re: Goodmark Rechromed Rear Bumper

I got one from RA for Xmas. Seems to be good quality, very heavy, nice chrome. Shipping was quoted as $100 in the cart but it ended up being shipped via FedEx for less than $40 and that was with brackets and some other things as well.

I bought a front and rear Goodmark Premium from Rock Auto. Haven’t installed them yet but they are beautiful pieces.

Agreed. Rear bumper and brackets $438.98 shipped. I'd much rather have an o.e bumper with American chrome but can't justify the cost.

Re: Goodmark Rechromed Rear Bumper

Summit sells Goodmark as well. Just be sure to cross reference part number on re-chrome vs re-pop. Shipping is usually good with Summit. Sometimes an oversize fee but not to bad.

There is a recent thread discussing the part numbers. If I can find it I will post a link.

Re: Goodmark Rechromed Rear Bumper

Part numbers - Rear - GMK4143800674A

I believe having the 'A' on the end of the part number is the key.

Re: Goodmark Rechromed Rear Bumper

They dont stock OE re-chrome bumpers, It appears you have to send them your OE bumper to have it rechromed. I spoke with a representaive, that is the info he gave me.

I could have sworn that I read a couple of members buy them from rock auto with the A at the end? I’ve been looking for a few months and have not seen them on there so maybe they ran out of stock?

I sure would like to find a real nice bumper for the 2 Wheel Dr. that I’m doing. I’ve seen too many pictures of peoples bumpers with the ends that bend down.
