what did you get done this week ( end ) 12/15 edition

Im still waiting for my seat to come back from the upholstery guy so the 76 basically sat. I fooled with the 79 horn and now know the problem is with the green contact or the switch on the wheel so parts are ordered.. started putting back lights on the work truck to light up when im backing up
How about you all?

I spent a few hours building a paint booth inside our shop - got it 2/3rd done. Going to (hopefully) have it ready in a few days and paint the sealer, base and clear coats on my the box for my truck build.

Re: what did you get done this week ( end ) 12/15 edition

shop clean up this weekend . burned a lot of wood scrap and cardboard i had got the shop toasty warm .

then i finally installed in the air system the 80 gal extra storage tank i got back on 10-24-16 . . . . install day was 12-14-19 only took a few YEARS

also started to clean up and set the layout for the other side of the shops air compressor . backup to main or paint booth only its on valves to feed zones . its also got a extra 80 gal storage tank .

but the one i installed this weekend i had in the corner but it limited ease of getting stuff so i flip flopped the tank and torch bottle setup and it flows better over there now . my 3/8" hose real feeds out of the #2 tank and the in & out of the tank have ball valves along with the tank drain . even has a blow off valve in it brand new . its on the regulated side of the compressor outlet so its only 120 psi . the 2 compressors do 175 max shut off .

not sure if i said it a few weeks ago but i put up a 36" convex mirror and wow thats a nice addition to the shop .

Pretty much finished mock up of my tank braces for the blazer tank in my k20. 12 gauge steel, grade 8 hardware, but still leaves me wondering if it needs more.

Trimmed my Koneta bed mat to fit my truck, and Scotch-brited off the overspray (previous owner) on the fuel tank covers.

I finally got around to fixing the middle seat belt buckle. It was sticking and not releasing. Found a penny down in the buckle once i got it open.

Reworked my exhaust to go around the transfer case, installed the starter and got the cab set back on the frame.

As expected, the suspension work is fighting tooth and nail. The gas axe has been brought in the game and the breaker bars and BFH's have been benched.
