Thumbs up New chevy guy from NM

Hi,
Just wanted to introduce myself to everyone. My name is Harry and I'm married and in the US Air Force. I'm currently stationed at Cannon AFB NM and I have two sons. I just acquired a 1968 chevy C-10. It's all original and has 42,800 miles on it. A little old lady owned it and drove to and from church everyday. It has the original owners manual and meticulous maintenance records. It has a 327 engine and automatic with A/C. It's white and gold. I have attached some pictures that I took when it was up for sale in KY. I also have the original rims and hub caps. In the pictures it looks white and pea green but the options list says white and gold. Does anyone know where or have any information about the 50th anniversary editon that was put out in 1968. All I have read about it was that it was a two tone white and gold. Would like to have some more info so that I could determine if it is the 50th anniversary edition.

Harry

SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET 50th! Welcome from sunny Seattle, WA! Has that truck been repainted? Could you pull the seat cover off and take some pictures of the original seat? Treat that truck with kindness it is a very nice original! I have two 50th's and am in the process of restoring them to original.

Re: New chevy guy from NM

It was garage kept by the old lady and from my understanding it hasn't been repainted. It will be some time before I can get the pictures of the seat that you requested. I still have to go back to KY and get it. When I do get it here I will certainly post the pictures you requested. Thanks for the comment about my new baby. I'm such a proud papa!
