Post BB mount questions

If anyone knows the best way to install a BB into a GMC 4x4, please let me know. WHat is best to do with the body mounts?

have fun... I've heard there are issues with the firewall if you want to run HEI and the crossmember needs to move on 4X4's

Did you have to change the frame cradle that the frame motor mounts attach to? What was the original engine?

I put a bb in my 69 swb 4x4 that originally had a 307. Moved it forward 2 inches. Drilled new holes for the crossmember and moved the clutch pivot forward. No problems with my HEI now. Did change to the newer throttle linkage though (no solid rod)
good luck
