Hello

This message board kicks a$$. I've gotten all kinds of good info off it so far. Has anyone ever actually broke a 3 speed manual? Everyone always swaps them out and says they're weak but i've never actually talked to some one who actually broke one. Anyway i took mine out and the 307 connected to it. I'll put in the th350 when it gets out of the shop and the fresh 350ci sitting in the garage. Does anyone have any tips on swapping in the th350 for the 3 speed manual? It looks pretty strait forward to me. i messed up taking out a perfectly good 307 and 3 on the tree. I should've bombed it with nitrous 'till it broke. then taken it out.

Welcome from Connecticut! You'll need to remove the std crossmember in favor of a auto/trans crossmember. If your using a short tail T350, the stock driveshaft fits fine.

May those who love us, love us, any of those who do not love us, may God turn their hearts.
And if God is unable to turn their hearts, may he turn their ankles so we may know them by their limping.

A man who works with his hands is a laborer; a man who works with his hands and his brain is a craftsman; but a man who works with his hands and his brain and his heart is an artist.
