Door Strike Plate NON-HARDENING Seam Sealer?

O-K, I SNAFU'ed and didn't notice the seam sealer I used on first door striker was "HARDENING" - my BAD. It dried rock hard! Managed to get it all apart again and luckily noted before doing second door, (doors are OFF).

* Need recommendation on quality NON-HARDENING BODY SEAM SEALER to use so I can re-adjust the striker plates as required when re-installing the doors?

Don't need a lot & only found EASTWOOD Brush-able Seam Sealer, but heard there is a product you can actually kneed with your hands like play-dough?

Already done once, help me get 'er done right.

PS. Front fenders will be coming back off to hang the doors.

Dooohhh - had a "Homer" moment, found this on shelf when I put the other away. Yep, guess this IS my last major project?
