buckets and console??

Well a buddy of mine gave me a lead on these so I bought them. Truck buckets. They came out of a 70 sierra grande. What are they worth, as you can see drivers side need some foam work, but its not bad. Console has NO cracks, the top is unscrewed is all. Brackets and and all metal looks good. I have 2 guys interested in some so I'd like to get an idea what they are worth? Thanks Randy

Re: buckets and console??

Randy- I'd say $300-$350. Just going off what I paid for the same set-up a while back. May be worth more now??

Re: buckets and console??

Well, I would say 7-800, but I have mine advertised for 650 for a while and no takers yet. And my passenger seat is perfect and the driver has only a small tear so no foam work needed on mine. And the console I have looks like a restored one but is a really clean original. I believe the guy I bought the seats from paid around 800 for them a year ago.

All that being said I'd guess 500-600 depending on how much someone wants them....more to the right person especially local who can save on shipping....

Re: buckets and console??

Depends on the buyer and how fast you want to sale them.On ebay with a 2 week sale to give enough people time to see them they will bring $500 to $600 fairly easy for what you have including the console.I recovered a set of mine a few months ago for my own use .I had a guy who wanted a set and I let him talk me out of them for $1200 with out the console.I was not trying to sale them he just saw them in my truck and wanted them.I buy up every set I come across in the $250 to $350 range that are complete with mounts needing minor foam work.I have at least 10 sets in storage and I wouldn't sale any without recovering first. The lower seat bun is the same in any blazer seat up to the early 80s even the high backs .I have a junk yard local that any bucket seat is $15.I buy up all the newer blazer seats just to remove the lower buns to repair seats like yours. After market buns are $100 plus each.

Re: buckets and console??

Randy I paid $400 for set with less foam damage on driver side and perfect console- You should get $350- 400 for the pair with brackets, $650 and above must be very near perfect needing only covers. Completly restored sets are only bringing $1200 and that is with new foams and covers.
