Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Ive had plenty of 81-91's and always wanted a "round eye" square crew 4x4 so I bought my 76. You just don't see those around like the 81-91 style. But I love them all!!!!
I'm totally okay with the small block! There's always room for upgrading in the future.

I just want something that will be a solid work truck that's super simple to work on with no fancy computers or anything like that.

Last pic before I sold my 91'! I sure miss the ol girl! I did A LOT to get it to the point it was at when I sold it. I have my 76' K20 crew i'm messin with but looking for a decent original 87-91 driver. The 76 Lamborghini Uracco P300 is fun too drive also. I'm thinking a pic of the two 76's would be cool. Especially since they are both orange....

Yep, they're 15x14. Not sure what the backspacing is, but I did have to grind the calipers.

It has spindles and cut springs in the front with a flip kit and mini notch in the rear. Still has about 2-3" of uptravel.
