Question Steering column bearing grease ?

I dis-assembled my tilt column lower bearing assm to clean it, as I could feel it grinding. Anyway, what kind of grease should I repack the bearing with?
some type of bearing grease or would white
lithium be ok....The bearing seems to be
in good shape, after the remove of grime.
Thanks.
