I like the gate also. We thought about doing something similar on my project

Don't get me wrong. That's very good work on the tailgate. I just don't like seeing a commercial name on it like that, other than Chevrolet. It seems too American Chopper. I almost expect to hear Mikey on the microphone, chanting "fire it up", as corporate suits from the Craftsman home office that know nothing about trucks nod and give thumbs up.

Maybe you could finish the original tailgate and include it with the auction?

Beautiful work! Not a fan of the corporate logoing deal, but the stamping looks awesome!

With chassis assembly coming together, we can begin the process of addressing the bed and cab.

With the assortment of Dynacorn panels and trim parts available, we have a nice, clean starting point to build upon.

With the new shortbed together, we create the opening in the bed floor to clearance the rear kickup and the cover panel.

New wheel tubs:

What is the process of making the recess portions of the metal panels? Great detail.

Re: Roadster Shop / Craftsman C-10 Muscle Truck Build

Excellent build. If I won the truck.... 1st thing would be a trip back to RS for a matching tailgate w/o the corporate logo . If I ever hit the lotto.... you guys are my 1st big check!

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Re: Roadster Shop / Craftsman C-10 Muscle Truck Build

this build is straight out of a dream. This is the closest thing to a brand new version of a 67-72 chevy truck. I wish chevrolet rolled these out of their factory these days..
