tow hooks

I've seen tow hooks come up in some posts, along with mention of money. Lemme get this straight, my old, heavy, ugly tow hooks (that I gave away) were worth money???

tow hooks

If they were old, big, ugly factory originals and you gave em away....ya, that probably hurts a little. Might as well handed someone $200 and said have a nice day!

don't mean to bring you down... but if they look like these.... yea they are worth around $150-$250 most of the time.

I'm not really sure if they are the 67-68 or 69-72, but they were mounted on my 72, they were open on the front, and kinda curved in at the ends

effie53,

I'd say milk it for all it's worth. Believe me my friend would be sweating this one out all right.
You could do things like: box up a couple of bricks and gift wrap em for him, or make a couple of aluminum foil repros or some smart a$$ stuff like that.
Unfortunately your buddy is reading this right now

Have a fun day. Oh yeah and welcome to the board.

haha, yea, thats what the front of my truck used to look like until I took that huge tree-ramming thing off and donated it to effie's f*rd

although I don't normally advertise it, some f*rds are ok, like his 53(has a chev SB in it!!), and the green beast 4x4 that has a lime green 360 torque monster living inside
