Thanks Wade for the kind words. I order the kit from "performanceonline-pol" off of eBay and the drop spindles are actually Western brand. Thinking of losing the drop spindles though because I don't need them with my GSI dropmember. Probably going to look for some stock spindles. Got the not-drilled or slotted rotors as you won't see them behind my steelies anyway.

Re: The Patina Machina

A few updates......

Almost done with the bed floor.....

Got the hubcap clip project started finally.......

Installed the Switch Suspension Hood Hinge kit from AZProPerformance.com.......mocked up with old bolts so I don't screw up the purty stainless ones before final assembly.

Very cool! How'd you get your hands on an extra Transit wheel? I always wondered what I would do if I trashed one of mine on a pothole or something.

Re: The Patina Machina

Been a few months, but here's an update. Most of this stuff is the little, tedious line and hose running. Work on this thing all day and looks like you didn't get crap accomplished!

- Scraped and undercoated the cab (mediocre rust repair)
- Wired everything on the frame with new brake lines, etc.
- Built a small driveshaft tunnel for clearance in cab
- Smoothed out firewall
- Dropped the 5.3 back in and starting to put it all together.
- Ran PSI harness last night, now I need to do the ECM mounting and inside wiring.
- Installed a Griffin radiator
- Ran new tranny cooler lines
- Got power steering hooked up to rack and pinion (Hopefully no leaks)
- Front brake lines made and ran
- Steering linkage hooked up to new steering column
- Ran exhaust with Dynomax Super Turbo mufflers
