Re: 67 3/4 cst 4x4

Well, that's a good idea (so I googled away). But I'm guessing Mr. Curl is hoping people don't google his name in Idaho because the first 4 or 5 hits are for an inmate and something about scissors...

Was pretty funny when you mentioned inmate, but when you added the scissors I LOL (really)!

Re: 67 3/4 cst 4x4

Yeah, it was a little funny. Btw - not implying at ALL that the google results were about the seller, I have no idea about that - they were just the items that bubbled to the top of when googling. Saw pics on my spousal unit's fb acct, the truck is indeed for sale and the seller mentioned he'd be posting more pics when he gets a chance. Just wanted to make sure folks weren't inadvertently connecting the wrong dots with my above comment (perhaps a failed attempt at jockolarity )

Re: 67 3/4 cst 4x4

I'd be much more interested if it was closer, and I had room. And money. And time. And... Ha. In other words I'd love to buy it, but just not in the cards at the moment. Needs work, but clearly was something in its day and worthy of a good resto. Btw, seller was very responsive and helpful.

Re: 67 3/4 cst 4x4

There was a time that truck would be on it's way to my house by now. This is exactly where my deepest interest in these trucks lies... well optioned, or exceptionally, 3/4t 4wds. This is a prime example of a '67 top of the food chain fancy heavy duty 4wd. And it's red with red interior... plus 2-tone. This is one that deserves a 100% factory restoration, like a '72 SWB BBC Cheyenne Super would. Too many trucks out there to alter to be molesting this one. This diamond is not so rough either!

I actually can't believe it's not sold yet. I agree with special k. That truck would look fantastic all original restored. I'm almost thinking about it as it's not far from the border.

Like others have stated, if it were closer it would be mine . That’s a nice project as opposed to a pile of incomplete parts.

Ok... Ok. I will do it! I will make the call, arrange the sale, go out there, and haul it back!!

Who's got the money? Oh, and can I borrow a truck and trailer? You can ride along if you pay for gas.

Re: 67 3/4 cst 4x4

The wife said "shut up about that truck already, if it's that good of deal go get it". Normally I would have been hooking up the trailer before she finished that sentence, but I know if I'm not back by Christmas I will be sleeping in it in the Wal-Mart parking lot. I asked if she wanted to make a road trip with me thinking she couldn't me mad if I missed Christmas and she was with me. "NO" was her response, so I'm back to the whole "wife won't let me" story. I am gone try to work a deal to see if it can sit till after the first of the year. With all that said someone PLEASE buy it to save me from my self.
