WTB - Spindle Lock Washer & Rear Spindle Nut (6 slot).

Hey guys, as the pictures show, this is what happened to me the other night. Almost lost the rear wheel and axle. So i need a Spindle Lock Washer (QU40037) and a Rear Spindle Nut with 6 slots (QU40036). My truck is a 1976 3/4 ton, with a 14 bolt differential cover, 10.5" ring gear, and 13" rear drums. For some reason these parts are hard to find, especially in Canada. I found a couple places online in the US, but was hoping i could maybe get them here and shipped faster. Thanks.

Just a heads up but there should be 2 of those nuts to lock together

Thanks for letting me know. I'm not too familiar with these parts, just trying to figure them out since this happened. So 2 rear spindle nuts to lock together, and 1 spindle lock washer?

Yes put the first nut on and snug it to where it’s tight then put that washer on and then install second nut and tighten the bend those ears on the washer over the second nut into those grooved places it locks the nut and keeps it from coming loose

fyi the spindle threads are the same as the newer 4 slot nut system .

1 thick nut and square lock key and ring to hold the key . i prefer these better .
