Post WINDOW REGULATOR ?????

I need to know what regulators will work with what doors????

I tried putting the "72 regulators in the older doors but the damn things will not fit.

I also wanted to know if there is a difference between the door handle actuator between all of the years???

Thanks

I believe that the only difference is the shaft length is longer on the 72 models so that it will clear the thicker door panels.
Some one stated that there was an extra mounting screw on the 72 regulators.
The suppliers I have checked with show all the actuators and regulators to be the same except for 72's

The only difference between the 67-71 regulators and the 72s is the lenghth of the shaft for the handle, everything else is the same. If you don't care that your handle sticks out too far away from the panel, then it will work fine for you. They can be extremely tricky to install, but they are the same.
