If you've never seen The Lady Eve or Double Indemnity those are two great Stanwyck films. She plays a bad girl in both, but the first is a hilarious comedy where she cons a guy and then falls in love with him; the second one is much darker - she convinces an insurance agent to help her kill her husband. Both show how seductive she really was.

Hey, it ain’t trucks but it ain’t politics or religion either. All ladies mentioned were top of the mark in their eras. I’m a huge golden age of hollywood fan so movies and sters from the 40’s and 50’s are my favorites. Can’t forget Natalie Wood and Hedy Lamarr.

They aren't getting pinched. You can go through General Discussion and see post about retaliation for this virus, people showing support for politicians, and people posting about religion. Those things divide people.

Just click on posts in the section. People showing support for politicians, people wanting to hold other countries accountable for this virus, and religious posts. This place is here for trucks. They bring people together. Politics and religion have a way of dividing us. I don't care if you are blue, red, Christian, Jewish, Hindu, Muslim, Buddhist, I don't care, but i will help you with your truck. But don't go pushing your "agenda"

For the most part people are great. I think it's great I can go to church in my living room and not have my 3 kids disrupting the entire service. I do miss the fellowship, but we'll have it again soon.

I understand the general discussion, but when people post or reply about topics that are spelled out in the rules(the same rules that everyone reads and accepts when they become members).

I think you're missing the point. I don't want people to be just like me. I want people to tolerate each other. This place is great because of the wealth of knowledge we have and share about trucks. If you want to post about politics, religion, go somewhere else and do it. My concern is, it's in the rules, and its not being enforced.

Oh the memories! I did a stint in a Catholic school, 7th & 8th grade. Run by the Sisters of no Mercy. Many a time I was told to "put that nose against the wallpaper". Fun times.
