Re: off it goes

You always see builds that start off nasty ugly and others just ughh frustrating. But i have enjoyed every pic so far and looks so clean and gorgeous. I hope you paint her back to the same colors tho. Great work man.

Re: off it goes

Those hinges look like they were made for this truck. How much work did it take to make them work?

Re: off it goes

they fit the hood profile exact....with the billet being thicker than the stock hinges we had to modify the cowl by putting the little pockets on each side for extra clearance. It was close to working but I wanted to be safe then sorry after truck is painted. As for mounting on the fenders we had to build the fender out like some what of a spacer and then we had to move one mounting hole so that the hinge would bolt up. The best part is they are a little smaller then the factory hinges so therefore there won't be any tire clearance problems

Re: off it goes

Eddie Motorsports makes nice hinges for these but with this truck being as low as it is with the 22" fronts.... These are a better way too go because the Chevelle hinges give you more clearance....

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
