Factory Tach
Did chevy make a tach for the 81 to 87 chevy pickups? I have a tach out of a 79 chevy and might put it in my 87, but then the numbers wont match exactly

In 1/2tons no, '81 was the last year for the tach, but it the guague face will match the previous versions not the 82-87 versions.

you need a speed sensor on an 87 dash , that gives feedback to the puter.DAVE
