Post '74 chevy tach, value?

Saw a tach dash in a 74 or so chevy in a JY. It also had an air pressure gauge too. Are these worth much? Didn't ask the guy how much he would take. Any opinions welcome.

They are getting harder and harder to find, I would definately suggest picking it up. I have seen dash assemblies at swap meets and the average price was about 150 bones.

the 1974 had an AMP gauge instead of the common VOLT gauge. the pickups/blazers only used that from 73-75 which really limits buyers. 95% of the ones i sell need volt gauges. the big trucks have an air gauge where the fuel gauge goes in a normal Tach dash set up also. People dont seem to care for that. I commonly see these units cheap at the swap meets. They are not that rare in the big trucks. There were 4,000 and 5,000 RPM tachs in them and plenty of 6 cyl and diesel ones . the 6 cyl ones[those monster V-6's they used] are not calibrated correctly for the typical V-8 truck buyer. DAVE
