what first on a fresh chassis?

Im replacing everything on the frame i got with danforth crossmember, zr2 rear end, and tci rear spring kit. My question is how do you guys go about setting up a new setup to be good on pinion angles and levelness?

Start with a level frame. Front to back and side to side. Use jack stands and strips of metal as shims. Check that it is level from multiple equal points on the frame. Install your engine at your desired angle, 3 degrees down is pretty standard, some put it in so the carb pad on the manifold is level, then put your suspension at ride height and weld your differential to the brackets. If your engine is 3 degrees down, then the pinion has to go up and equal amount, Some people would do 3 degrees up, some take in account spring wrap and do minus one degree so in this case engine 3 degrees down and and rearend 2 degrees up. But it all starts with a level frame or everything to follow is pointless.
