Re: Quadrajet Rebuilding Company

I just had the factory quadrajet on my red 71 longhorn rebuilt at jet in huntington beach, I believe summit sells their carbs and on amazon too..

this thread may help Where to buy a quadrajet?

I posted about jet in that thread here http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...52&postcount=5

I since have had that one rebuilt few months ago and tickled to death with results, works just like it should

good luck!

If you can get Cliff to do it, you'll get the best rebuild anybody can do. He usually has a long wait list, though. He's a really nice guy, and he'll talk to you on the phone and let you know exactly what you need and what he can do for you.

Cliff is officially out of the Quadrajet rebuilding business, or so he informed me last time I spoke with him. He said he's just selling kits now.
I buy his rebuild kits, they are worth the extra money.

I hear great things about Sean Murphy at SMI:

Re: Quadrajet Rebuilding Company

I had Lars Grimsrud rebuild the quadrajet on my 72K10. I found him mentioned on this board in numerous threads. I liked him. Super knowledgeable guy. Fair pricing.

I have used Cliff in the past. Didn't know about Lars. He is on the Corvette C1 and C2 forums and is super knowledgeable in all things mechanical. People trailer their Corvettes to him from several hundred miles away to have him work on their cars.
