Grille Turn Signals?

Anybody using a 71-72 grille, but kept there 69-70 bumper? I was wanting to know if anybody was able to rig up some turn signals without switching bumpers.

thanks

I bought some aftermarket ones and mounted them to the core support.

May not help much but when I originally bought my '71 4x4 it was set up with a '7 snow blade attacment. PO used original '71 style turn signals "zip tied" to the radiator support. They were still visible, almost like "hidden" or "phantom" turn signals. Since then I removed the blade and went with original bumper and turn signal placement.

I have a tube bumper onmy 72 with 1980 pontiac lemans turn signals mounted behind the stock grille. They match up with the rectangular shape of the holes almost perfectly. I'll see if I have some pics or get some if I don't.

gots 'em!
