Question Couple of Questions

What is the main difference between the Cheyenne and Super Cheyenne option package (1972)?
If someone states that their truck has the '400 big block', I assume they are refering to the 402 big block and not the other chevy 400 which was the big 'small' block? Did I get that right?
That 400 small block was only available in passenger cars, correct?
Thanks
Tim

400=402 big block, at least in '67-'72 applications. The 400 small block was available in the next body style (not sure what year, but I think I once worked on a '74 with a 400sb).

Anyway,

'72 Cheyenne = Full depth foam seat with deluxe vinyl trim, carpeting, door trim panels, Chromed front bumper, cigar lighter, headliner, cargo lamp, chrome knobs and pedal trim, rear window trim, vent window trim, windshield trim, Cheyenne emblems, deluxe side marker lights, door-operated dome light switches, special insulation & on fleetsides, it also included the lower trim and a chrome gas cap. $201 on stepsides, $242 on fleetside & longhorn.

'72 Cheyenne super = same as Cheyenne except for: Cloth trim on the seat, woodgrain trim around the gauges & on the glovebox door, Cheyenne Super emblem on the glovebox door and fenders, & chrome hubcaps (except on a few odd rim sizes). On fleetside & longhorn it also includes upper and lower body side trim.

Thanks CKHD,
I do appreciate it;
can I assume the difference in the options between a GMC Sierra and Sierra Grande would be the same thing?
