Re: Project: What the heck did I get into???

So I just read through your post on this build and from what I gather you built it, finished it and now you don't want to cut it or notch it? I ask because I am about to replace my entire back end of my 72 4WD Blazer and I got a donor 69 truck, but once I got it home and really looked it over it basically needs a cab to be decent. With that heartache in mind I am contemplating restoring the truck, finding another bed for the Blazer and taking on 2 projects at once, not a perfect situation but it will obviously take over my life for a while. The tub looks in great shape, yes I am interested. If you want to talk please PM me your number and I will call.

Started to disassemble already and plans are set in motion for the purchase of the tub and doors.

Yea.. I felt really bad about cutting it up. I am keeping all my air suspension, motor/trans, porterbuilt stuff, wiring, front clip and the top.

I'm going to be on the look out for a cheap 67-68 short bed and put all my stuff on it.

So you sold the tub but what else is up to get rid of? Are you posting on sale board or do you want to PM me a number for offers.

sold the seats, doors, carpet, tailgate, misc stuff. Still have the front clip, frame, motor/trans, tilt column, top, and all air suspension stuff.

I'm going to keep the suspension, motor/trans and column.

Too bad the shipping would be more than that top is worth to get it here.
