Re: new 72 k5

well as of right now i got to looking around a little better(bought it in the dark) found some pros and cons with it like some rust patch jobs that a 5 year old could do.(but then again im not that good at body work either) but for now im working on the tranny, motor, and wiring. today started to get the tranny out so will have that out by monday to take to a buddys shop and rebuild that. heres a few more pics of it.

A nice find you got there. I like the color too. What size of lift and tires on it?

Re: new 72 k5

Think it's about a 4" suspension with 2 or 3 inch body lift. With 35's I believe... Havnt really looked at them. Haha. Waiting on my tranny to get done. Have been going through the big block think it might have to mug clearance on one I the pistons. Looks like they rebuilt the whole motor then just use ok pistons. Maybe a bad cam bearing. Not sure yet though.
