Very cool. Will the bed use step side fenders for the DRW fenders?

That is pretty nice. Is there any extra inner structure support to help hold up the rack on top?

Re: Need Pic's of Crew Cab Conversion's 67-72

IM not sure if the front goes all the way down to the floor, but I think the back does. The roofskin was going to be a huge amount of time to get to look right so he opted for this route. It is 1/4" steel diamond plate. he used the eyelet to lift it up there and is going to store his spare tire/trail gear up there when done.

I figured that was why and I also figured he would put the spare there as well. It's still pretty cool. Keep progress pics coming of that truck if you could.

Re: Need Pic's of Crew Cab Conversion's 67-72

I'm convinced that having a crew cab 69-72 model truck is officially a life long dream of mine. Wow they look stunning when done correctly. Examples of done correctly are the orange one, Pencillin (insanely awesome truck!) and the red one w/ photoshop stepbed that is really a blue truck on a 2500hd frame w/ dmax .

Whats a realistic figure to have one built. Just talking the cab, nothing else. Say you provide the fab person/shop with a good donor cab and good donor suburban shell. Would $5000 get all metal work done, smoothed and in primer? Not too concerned with a real forth door - at least not to the degree that penicillin got with hand fabbed hinges, latches, int. door, window mech., etc. that are exact opposite of the pass. side.

No, I don't think $5,000 would cover it. I believe it would be over $15,000 to have it done like Penicillin or more now. I think LFD says it's quite expensive for him to do this. Trevor

I have 3 extended cab trucks and 1 crew cab truck and they all get spendy. I have been trying to sell my 67 extended cab truck for about 7000 but no takers. I know it could not be built for this amount as the guy that I bought it from said it cost 20,000.00 to build the truck in 1992.

I'm sure plenty of folks want your truck, but a lot of us are just short a few bucks.
