When your adapter arrives, I'll take some good pictures showing what I did.

OBTW, my manifolds are the same as yours....

So are you going to still use the hanging pedal from the 71-72 or the floor mounted one from the 67-70? I like how smooth the 71-72 style set up is over my old 70 stocker.

Ooh another selling point is the smooth operation of the 71-72 over the warn out rough 67-70

I was missing the pedal off of my 71/72 setup so I was just playing around with this. It may provide an option to those who don't have or want the 71/72 pedal. Here's some pictures of the mock up so far. I'll post more when I get your adapter and start to install it in the truck.

Re: LFD's gas pedal adapters (71-72 gas pedals in 67-70's)

I have the 71-72 pedal assembly but no cable. What does the lokar cable look like you guys are using? How much are they costing? I am running a edelbrock performer carb, will the lokar cable work with that carb? Thanks Guys.

Re: LFD's gas pedal adapters (71-72 gas pedals in 67-70's)

I ordered the Lokar 24" Universal throttle cable. Looks like it'll work with a Performer carb. You have to use the Lokar throttle bracket. Only issue might be your transmission kickdown bracket. I'm running the Lokar Th400 kickdown switch and already have the throttle bracket. Hopefully it'll all work out.
Haven't got all my stuff yet though.

I didn't read all the posts yet, maybe this is a duplicate post, but is there any other year pedals that will work and still bolt right in?

Not that I am aware of, just the 71-72 out of any C/k-series chevy. Their are or were several on the parts board for sale in the $20-$30 range complete.

Re: LFD's gas pedal adapters (71-72 gas pedals in 67-70's)

I have been conversing with the guys at the Truckshop in Crossville TN and they get $70 for a pedal assy with new cable, $50 for pedal with used cable and $30 for pedal assy with NO cable. Just an FYI

Quick up date on shipping! I was just called by my local little post office to inform me they had calculated the postage incorrectly so I had to run down and add $0.11 to each package. So sorry but they just went into the delivery system today
