Re: MY Blazer build

Ricks did your tank, correct? He did mine... must have used the same specs I sent him... looks like a direct copy.
Im surprised you didnt use those aluminum finish wheels... they looked awesome. Black ones look great too though. I also see you removed the factory AC in favor of a new Vintage Air setup, I did the same as well, you going with R12 or 135?

at the time we stripped the frame for powder coat
the shocks were not in stock we had to wait for them so dave and rick made the decision to build them and make them bolt on to the frame and use the stock ones on the axles that way we could keep the build going and im happy they did that i think the shocks were on back order for a month here are some pictures of them

Re: MY Blazer build

Ronnie,

What's that stuff on top of your bed rails and rocker panels? Is it bed-liner or some kind of friction tape? Looks good.

Re: MY Blazer build

Awesome looking Blazer! Its going to be great when its finished. Those shock mounts are cool looking. I'd like to know what the liner is in the tub as well. Looks kind of like rhino liner.

Wow, very nice. Your grandfather would really be happy that you are taking so much pride and care restoring his old truck. Keep the pics coming.
