Where can I get 2-point lap belts with the latch mechanism like 4-point or 5-point harness systems? I would like 4 or 5-point, but am gonna have to add them later when I come up with a way to mount them. Anyone got pics of a truck with 4 or 5-point harnesses that doesn't have a full interior cage to mount them from? Thanks.

I am using the lap belts from a 5 point harness. Not sure if I have pics of them tho.

Go to a 4X4 place, they'll have what you are looking for.
I don't think you can actually run 4 or 5 point belts in a truck like these...at least, not wiithout knocking out the window to run the belts anyways.

Well, I took out my gas tank for a rear conversion, and I was was thinking of taking the sloped part of the cab which would be above the tank and strengthening it by running a tube across it and down to the floor on the ends. Then attach harnesses there.

You will need a cross bar or something like waste high to connect the shoulder belts to. I have been wanting a cage for long time but just didnt wanna rip all the inside out just for that. My lap belts are mounted just like the original seat belts.

Found these pics Ryan. You may be able to mount the shoulder harneses in the orginal seatbelt locations but you will need the seats that take the shoulder harneses (hold them in place). You will also need to do some measuring to see if they are long enough to mount to the floor.

Actually if you get a 4 point set up, you'll want the anchor more like shoulder height. If you could run the belt back further, then you could go lower...like the ones that bolt into the back seat in cars, but for a truck, you'd need it to be at shoulder height. If it is anchored too lor, then it will literally pull you down in a head on collision, and with enough force, would break both your shoulders and collar bone with no problem.

If you want the 5 point harness in these trucks I think the best way to get them is to install the racing type seats that have the integral harness in them. Check the Jegs.com site I think I saw them in there. This avoids having to run a bar across yer back winder to mount the shoulder belts to. You want those shoulder belts at least slightly abvoe your shoulder to avoid compressing your spine in a collision.
