C10 - 8 Lug?

Ok...I picked up this 69 C10 Custom (with AC) the other day. It's a V8, Automatic LWB.

Question is with the 8 Lug rear end....would that have been common in the C10? I would understand it in a C20 or higher, but...

Also, can someone identify it? I know how, I think, that the Dana would look like, but, not familiar with this one. It appears original....dunno.

Thanks,

The 8-lug would have been swapped in at some point, but it does look like its been there a long time. Someone will be along soon to identify it.

Re: C10 - 8 Lug?

Thanks folks. That indeed looks to be a swap out at some point. I assume there is not much value to such a rear end huh?

Thanks for the SPID. Some nice options. Don't toss that rear when you swap it out. Someone will need it.
