Re: rear disc brake templates and drawings

These are very detailed and very well done, I'm just curious if anyone has priced out the calipers and rotors lately, I went in after I recieved my prints and for example

Calipers 126$ + core of 25 x2
Rotor 22$ x2
Pads 24$

Maybe parts are cheaper in the states but in Canada I was looking at over 400$ plus sales tax. once I paid sales tax and fabbed up the plates itd be cheaper for me to buy a kit. what are these parts going for states side?

This is not bashing you hilljob, your drafts are very well done, and without a doubt work well. I'm just curious if this is ballpark or if this gear is going cheaper for you guys?

Any chance you have a templates for seville ebrake calipers? Or can you design some for it 71 rear end? Those are easy to come by.

Thanks

Re: rear disc brake templates and drawings

I tried the same rotors for a 77 deVille and they wont slide over my axle the Rotor Hat is like 6 1/4" and the axle is 6 13/16".....what does the NAPA brand hat measure inside?

Answered my own question.

Really the only difference in the setup is that you have to turn down the OD of the axle to 6.190. the only other difference is that the rotor od is .500 smaller so the caliper mounting holes move down aprox .250 on the bracket.

Re: rear disc brake templates and drawings

Has anyone successfully used the Eldorado Rear Calipers with the Emergency Brake Successfully? These are cheap on Ebay. If so, what did you use for Rotors and pads?

Re: rear disc brake templates and drawings

What are you charging for the prints and will they work on four wheel drive? What master cylinder and can the self adjusting proportioning valve be used?
