Throttle linkage hookup on Fitech ??

Looking for any info (pic please) on the hookup of Acc linkage on a Fitech setup for 67 C10 with 383 engine. I have a bracket from Jegs for the 700R4 TV cable but the bracket has a square hole for the acc cable and my acc linkage is a straight rod type.

Looks nice!! I'm going to assume, you are going to have to convert your rod style linkage to a cable style, to make this work. Check with Lokar. I think they have what you may need.

Re: Throttle linkage hookup on Fitech ??

Ok all good on this one I have done this also new GM crate engine / 200 4r trans / installed fitech efi

This is what you need ( FAST EZ EFI Mount Kit part # 304-147 ) ,I ordered from Summit , if you look at the reveiws for this kit you will see others used for fitech install. a little on the high $ end as far as price but everything you need with O problems on install . I also have Rod style gas linkage / 200 4R and 700 R4 use same Detent cable and I will add cable is just where it should be for smooth operation .

I dont know what kit you have, but the square hole is for your Detent cable it snaps in the square you want to install that squre bracket so the cable is level all the way through to your hook up on the fitech, it is not your gas/fuel linkage ,

So let me understand, did you stay with the rod linkage for fuel or did you convert over to a cable style for your fuel? If you have pictures I would appreciate it. Thank you

Re: Throttle linkage hookup on Fitech ??

Can't you just loosen the fuel pressure gauge fittings and point it up a little? Although converting to a cable throttle is safer.

Re: Throttle linkage hookup on Fitech ??

Do Holley and Edlebrock carbs have the same throttle lever? FiTceh throttle levers have the same geometry as Holley. The Jegs 157301 is for Eddy carbs. I think you should have used a 157300 for 4150/4160 Holleys. Not sure you are going to get the correct geometry from the 157301.

I'm running the FiTech and could never get the linkage style pedal to open the throttle 100%. Installed the bowtie EZ-TV kit & a 72 cable style pedal. Problem solved.

Yes I think your right. After checking the throttle again it is not going 100% open. Do you have a good part number for the Bowtie EZ-TV kit? Did you use a Lokar pedal or something else?
Thanks. Darren

The Bowtie TV Made EZ system for the FiTech EFI is a modified Holley 4100 squarebore EZ system. Bowtie charges an additional $75 to modify that system. I had to send the FiTech TB to them for the modifications. Maybe things have changed since that was about two years ago. I checked the Bowtie site and there is not anything listed specific the the FiTech EFI. I suggest you call Bowtie Overdrives at 760-947-5240 to verify this info.

Bowtie Overdrive's TV Made Ez system - TVEZ4100 $149.95
