Well yeah....There were fewer people, things made more sense, the vehicles were cooler, music and entertainment were much better...............Music FAR better. I dig fairly deeply into music, and can post (literally) about 140 GREAT selected tunes from the 70s, and that excludes songs done by my favorite artists. Tastes differ, but I can't even locate that many for the 2010s, great artists or otherwise. Few decent bands out there though, such as Dead Weather, Starsucker (replace middle S with F), Alabama Shakes..... Still some quality.

I hear you there. Agreed. And I wasn't even alive in the seventies, just grew up through the eighties and nineties listening to the seventies! Still do, as part of my daily mix.
