Re: Project N2Deep

Nice rides.. Just joined. I previously had a 57 bid window that I regret selling and have always wanted another Chevy Truck. Just bought a 69 C10 1/2 ton. Looks nice. May do a frame-off resto down the line, but right now enjoying it everyday.

I lke your trucks.. all. Just curious which is the lucky one to pull the airsream.

Re: Project N2Deep

I finally put in some time on this project. I just picked up a rebuilt 327 motor Friday! I will re-paint it black along with the transmission. I also finished painting/detailing the front frame and re-assembled the suspension and brakes. I will install the new brake lines and block the firewall one more time before I install the motor. Then I can put everything back together.

Got some more done today. Front suspension & brakes all together. Cleaned up the front wheels (forgot how shiny they were). Before and after pics of the motor! Need to order a flex plate then I can put the motor & trans in!

Re: Project N2Deep

Motor & trans are in! Had to mod the stainless headers and motor mounts to get them to work & installed the new valve covers. Will be picking up an Edelbrock 1406 carb nes week and need to get the water pump gasket. Also will order the driveshaft and air ride setup.

I took my mother to Pomona Auto Swap meet last week and look what she bought! She wanted a beach cruiser for her and the grandkids.

Cool wagon. Looks like we know where some of the "cruisin" genes came from.
