Project "Irvin"

Picked up a 72 Cheyenne c10, what I know that I'm the 4th owner and the 2nd owner put a gm crate engine in it and a rebuilt tranny. It has factory AC and minor rust in rockers and front fenders. The seat was reupholstered by a good friend of mines dad 2 years ago when the 3rd owner purchased it. Plans are to replace the fenders, reinstall all moldings , replace rusty panels and paint back original colors. Change the distributor to hei, fix the AC, bags and 20" wheels and of course update the brakes. In time may body drop with a few more upgrades.

Re: Project "Irvin"

Oven cleaner from dollar store! That's about 5 cans and 4 hours of work. May do some more tomorrow if weather holds out.
As of right now there's about $100 in patch panels needed and hopefully I have a few laying around

Re: Project "Irvin"

Well I tore engine down to install cam and new lifters and as I was on Craigslist I found someone needing money in a bad way so I went and purchased a brand new 290hp gm performance crate engine for $900 so I grabbed it and the guy had a new eldabrock intake, new 650 carb and a new starter so I told him 1150 for it all and he would have to wait any longer for another phone call so he sold it all to me. And I got a set of long tube headers and a chrome water pump as well
