Re: My 94 cheyenne build.
I got some more work done within the last few weeks. I was able to remove the V6 motor mounts and install the ones for the V8. It wasn't to hard to do. I used the plasma cutter to cut off the exsisting bolts. As far as putting them in I was able to do it with 2 long extensions and a swivel. My father inlaw and also completed some work on the engine. We opened it up and torqued all the bolts on the caps and rods. Everthing checked out just fine. I also installed a high volume oil pump and oil pump. A new double roller timing chain was installed as well. There was some slack in the existing one and we were unsure of what was allowed. So with the doubt we decided to install a new one. A new water pump and fan clutch were also installed. Here are a few pics of the engine as of now.
I also picked up the transmission from the builder. I also purchased and installed a new oil cooler for the transmission. |

Well I got the engine and transmission put in a few day ago. Hopefully I will have it fully assembled and started in a few weeks. Here are a few pics.

Re: My 94 cheyenne build.
It has been awhile since I have posted some progress. I just didn't realize that it had been so long. I have got the truck running. I have not driven the truck much due to the crappy gas milage it gets. It's not my daily driver so the gas mileage doesn't bother me to much. I knew the gas milage would be bad but not this bad. I am getting about 9 mpg. I am going to rebuild the top end later on and install an ez EFI. I will be traveling for work soon so it will be on the back burner. I have attached a few pics of the way it looks now.

Hey man, you said you were gonna plasti-dip the bumper. I will have to bring mine by so that we can smoke one tire each.
