99 Camaro wheels, will they fit on 71 5 lug ?

There is some wheels nearby that are cheap with tires on them that look good, They are 16 x 8 rims, the guy knows nothing about them other than they are 5 lug and came off of a 99 Chevy Camaro. I know backspacing will be an issue but does anybody have any idea of bolt pattern? Thanks

Somebody correct me I'm wrong, but I believe that camaros have 5x4 & 1/2 bolt pattern, and trucks have 5x5, so no, I don't think they will work.

Actually, the Camaro is 5 on 4.75 pattern, the truck is 5 on 5 pattern.

Be sure to consider if the car is front wheel drive or disc brake setup...

I owned a 96 Black Cherry Impala SS for 3 years, bolt pattern is 5 on 5,
same as a silverado or a 71-72 c-10 2wd p/u, We tried them on buddy's
truck, looked kinda cool to me, not exactly sure what you mean tx.

Sure, the Impala has 5 on 5 just like our trucks. The thread is about whether Camaro wheels will fit the trucks, which they won't.

That's why I qouted your response, Camaro no, Impala yes. You seemed to be saying it backwards.

I was asking about the Impala SS wheels, any problems with backspacing using them on a 71 5 lug frame? Sorry for the confusion.

the S trucks run the same blot pattern as the cars you could redrill your hubs and axles to match the car pattern
