Re: Building my INDY HAULER ....

And this wasn't originally planned but I noticed a couple of rock chips at the lower part of the paint and the tires still had all of it's ( . Y .) so mud flaps were ordered and installed!

It looks fantastic with the now painted to match trailer with originally ordered hood bird put to good use on back door.

I LOVE THIS TRUCK! It just goes to show, that you can build anything you want to. This combo works out nicely.

Very cool...thanks for sharing. I really like the subtle things. You need to get pickup, trailer and trans am together for a nice pic. That would be cool.

great attention to detail and pulling it all together!

Re: Building my INDY HAULER ....

Very nice build. GREAT vision & big props for keeping the 'theme' consistent to GM yet slightly tweaked.

I've been searching for a vent solution for my BBC CC dually to allow underhood heat somewhere to go & considered the 2nd GEN T/A vents. This has tilted the scales severely.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Indy Hauler "with a twist" is right!!
Never saw that coming...lol!! 4 doors and an 8' box.
Amazing tow rig. Just love the attention to detail. And it has the cummins ta boot! Great build and great pics. Your trailer kick's a-- too! Nice combo for sure. Thanx for sharing your truck with other truck nutz!!

Re: Building my INDY HAULER ....

Thanks for the compliments everyone, I am stoked that it is so well received! I'm very proud to own this truck and am very happy that I was FINALLY able to do it! I still have a few more pics to post and some editing to do to my thread cause I left a few things out. And as mentioned earlier, I still have to finish building the truck. For now though, I am taking care of things around the house that have been neglected for the past few weeks so I can live to finish the GMC-UMMINS.

Re: Building my INDY HAULER ....

Nice job!! All or most of those Indy hauler trucks were made in Brighton,Mi at a place called cars & concepts I worked there from 1980-1996
Most of them that I saw were swb trucks

Re: Building my INDY HAULER ....

I haven't chimed in lately cause I've been busy doing other things (life happens) but a buddy of mine that recorded a short video of my truck & trailer uploaded a video of it on YouTube today so I thought I would share it. .... Enjoy
